Thoughts From a "Lost Canadian" About Kluane National Park

I have not been surprised to learn about the beauty and nature found in the National Parks in Canada - I did expect beauty and nature would be big parts of Canada's National Parks. But I am very happy to learn the National Parks in Canada which are parts of the First Nations' are managed in cooperation with First Nations peoples. This is true with Kluane National Park, which I am happy to let you know about this beautiful place today.

• Kluane National Park is in Yukon Territory and is home to Mount Logan, Canada's highest peak.
• It is also where you will find the largest non-polar icefields in the world, which cover 80% of the park. 
• Kluane boasts the world's highest concentration of Dall sheep, along with significant populations of grizzly bears, black bears, moose, and caribou.
• The park's name is derived from the Southern Tutchone phrase Łù'àn Män, meaning "big fish lake".
• Kluane National Park is home to seventeen of Canada’s 20 highest peaks, Kluane is known worldwide for its wilderness recreation. 
• Covering 21,980 square kilometres of mountains and glaciers, Kluane is one of Canada’s largest national parks. To truly appreciate its majestic scale and diverse landscapes, there’s only one option: take to the skies.
